Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have made your selections, click on Checkout. You will be asked for a few details that we need in order to complete your order.

Payments are accepted by Credit Card. We accept Master Card, Solo, Switch/UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta and Visa Electron.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

If there is a change of price between your placing an order and the shipment of the goods, we will always contact you first to ensure that the amended price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Software is downloaded from our web site. As soon as your Order has been approved, an email will be sent with the download address of the software, the software Serial Number and its Product Code. If, for some reason, software cannot be downloaded, a CD can be supplied at an additional cost of £5.00 plus VAT. CDs are despatched by First Class post.

Palm handhelds are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery for 'next day' delivery. Their quoted price includes despatch by Special Delivery.

VAT at 17.5% is charged on all goods and services.
Delivery Schedule Orders received before 15:30 are normally despatched by that evening's post. Orders received later that the cut-off time will be despatched on the next business day.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after the card processers computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee Palm handhelds are covered by that company's term and conditions. It is essential that the units are registered with Palm as soon as they are configured.

tap-it softwares aim is that the software products will process data without error and will, where appropriate, print test certificates in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate reglatory body. Should errors arise, these will be corrected at no charge to the user.

There is no annual support charge. Users are only expected to pay for updates to reflect chages to the electrical safety regulations and for enhanced features which are additional to the software package's primary functions.

Privacy Policy tap-it software do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed. Credit Card processing is carried out by PROTX: this Company will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm. The following provisioins apply

a. Software may only be returned within the first 30 days of ownership if it has been shown to be defective and tap-it software have been unable to supply an appropriate correction.
b. The return of software under (a) must be accompanied by a written and signed Declaration that all evidence of the software product has been removed from all computer systems and storage media accessible to the customer.
c. No later than 14 days after the receipt of defective software in accordance with (a) together with Declararion (b), tap-it software will refund the amount paid on originally purchasing the software.
d. Failure of a Palm handheld should be taken up with Palm Inc, whose details are included within the Palm handheld packaging.
e. Where tap-it software agree to accept the return of a Palm handheld, it must be returned together with all of the items contained in the original packaging and these items must be in re-saleable condition. Since tap-it software cannot replace the original packaging a return fee of £50.00 will be deducted from the original price paid for the handheld: this fee will be allowed to the purchaser of the 'second hand' Palm in compensation.
